Four youths from Albany and Stanberry were hurt early Friday morning when a car traveled off Highway 136 and hit a tree west of Princeton. The Highway Patrol said a passenger, 17-year old Hunter Sweat of Albany, received the worst injuries of the four, his described as "MODERATE" by authorities at the scene.
The driver, 16-year old Bincent Jackson of Albany, and passengers, 15-year old Kyle Redmond of Albany and 16-year old Mason Rosier of Stanberry, all received what were described as "minor" injuries.
The accident was eight miles west of Princeton on Highway 136. The Patrol said the westbound car went off the right side of the road and hit a tree, demolishing the vehicle. The Patrol said all four teens were wearing seat belts.
