A Browning man was killed yesterday afternoon when, according to the highway patrol, 47 year old Troy Flummer was operating a motorcycle when he attempted to pass a truck when the truck was making a left turn.


The accident was on state Highway 5, eight miles south of Milan. Flummer was pronounced dead at the scene of the (2:30 pm) accident.

The dump truck driver was listed as 58 year old Dale Hague of Newtown. He was not hurt. The motorcycle was demolished. The truck received minor damage. Both operators were using safety devices. Troy Flummer is the first traffic fatality of this year in Sullivan County.
