Two Cameron residents were injured this (Thursday) morning when a sport utility vehicle overturned north of Cameron. The driver (68 year old Judy Person) and passenger (55 year old Margaret Hamilton) were taken to Cameron Regional Medical center with 'minor' injuries.

The accident was five miles north of Cameron on DeKalb County Route EE. The Patrol said the southbound SUV went off the right side of the road, returned to the pavement, then went off the right side again and overturned, coming to rest on the driver's side of the vehicle. The SUV was demolished. Both women were wearing seat belts.
