Because of the heat, the Livingston County Jail has announced some changes regarding this week's livestock entries. The poultry show in the north barn was moved to 10 o'clock on Wednesday morning from its original time of 1 o'clock, with a sheep show scheduled for 3 o'clock in the expo center with the goat show to follow (both on Wednesday afternoon). On Wednesday night, a talent show will be held in the outdoor arena northwest of Chillicothe.

Regarding the announced change in delivery of livestock to the fairgrounds, Fair Board President Steve Radcliff announced that 4H and FFA members can now WAIT until the night before to take their animals to the fairgrounds so they can be shown at the fair. He said there WILL NOT be a penalty for NOT having their animals on the fairgrounds all week.

Livingston County 4H and FFA judging is open to residents of Livingston County PLUS those youth from other counties who belong to a Livingston County 4H group OR attend Grand River Technical School.
