Two people were injured, including a Missouri teenager, in a traffic accident five miles north of Trenton on Sunday morning. It happened on Grundy County Route A and Northwest 50th Street.

Receiving "minor" injuries (according to the Highway Patrol) was one of the drivers involved, 15 year old Autumn Moore of Cainsville, and a passenger in the second vehicle, 43 year old Gary Linn of Ackworth, Iowa. HE declined medical treatment at the scene while the driver of the van, 49 year old Sharon Jordan of Ackworth, was not hurt. Miss Moore was taken by ambulance to Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton.

The Sunday morning accident occurred with the Iowa van northbound on Route A and attempting to make a left turn onto Northwest 50th, crossing into the path of the southbound car driven by the Cainsville teen. Damage to both vehicles was extensive. All people involved were using seat belts.
