Posted by Tom on 2012/7/9 10:10:00 (339 reads) News by the same author

A Chillicothe man is accused of several traffic violations following a police pursuit involving a four-wheeler. Chillicothe Police Sergeant Scott Chubick said officers attempted a traffic stop of a four-wheeler near the intersection of Jackson Street and Elm Street on Friday night. However, the driver DID NOT stop and a pursuit commenced.

Sergeant Chubick said the pursuit was terminated after the four-wheeler began driving through citizen backyards.

As a result of an investigation that followed, 45 year old Jeffrey Anderson of Chillicothe was arrested, and accused of failing to halt for a posted stop sign (three times), operating a four-wheeler on a road after sunset, operating a four-wheeler on a city street without a city sticker, and resisting arrest by flight.
