A Chillicothe man was killed on Sunday afternoon when the sport utility vehicle he was driving went off a rain-slickened road and overturned, throwing him out. Twenty-one year old James Reynolds was pronounced dead at the scene, seven miles northwest of Chillicothe on Livingston County Route A.
The Highway Patrol said Reynolds was southbound on Route A when the SUV traveled off the right side of the road, went back across the pavement, and off the left side of Route A, where it overturned.
The SUV came to rest on its side, partially on the road. The vehicle was demolished. James Reynolds of Chillicothe is the THIRD traffic fatality of 2012 in Livingston County.
