Road Work Ahead : Highway 169 north of Albany to receive resurfacing work

Milling work began on Friday morning to prepare Highway 169 for resurfacing in portions of WORTH and GENTRY Counties. Highway 169 will be resurfaced between Grant City and Highway 136 (west of Albany).

The project includes the addition of two-foot paved shoulders between Gentry and Highway 136. The overlay work is to be completed in mid-August. Norris Asphalt Paving Company is the contractor.

Bridge maintenance is an additional part of this project. The entire work, including bridge maintenance, is scheduled to be done by Saturday, October 13th (weather permitting).
