Automobile Accidents : Brookfield man injured in fall from pickup truck

One Brookfield man was hurt when, authorities said, he fell from a moving truck last night on Highway 11 in Linn County.

The Highway Patrol described injuries as SERIOUS for 25 year old Kevin Scott of Brookfield who was taken by medical helicopter to University Hospital in Columbia.

The state patrol said Scott was a passenger in a pickup driven by 22 year old Dillan Santo of Brookfield. Officers noted the truck was southbound while Scott was attempting to climb from the passenger window to the bed of the pickup while the vehicle was still in motion.

The report noted Scott fell onto the roadway five miles north of Brookfield. The highway patrol added Santo was arrested for investigation of felony, driving while revoked, charges.
