Automobile Accidents : Milan woman injured in eastern Sullivan County accident

A Milan resident was hurt late Saturday afternoon when the car she was driving overturned off Highway 6 west of Green City. The Highway Patrol said 37-year old Julie Howe of Milan received SERIOUS injuries, and was taken to Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville.

The accident was three miles west of Green City on Highway 6. The Patrol said the westbound vehicle ran off the right side of the road and overturned, coming to rest on its top. The car was demolished. Miss Howe was wearing a seat belt.
