Two people were hurt in a Caldwell County accident on Wednesday afternoon. The Patrol said one driver, 55 year old Walter Judd of St. Joseph, sustained MODERATE injuries while his passenger, 38 year old Christopher Venneman of Chillicothe had minor injuries.
The Patrol said Judd was taken by ambulance to Cameron Regional Medical Center, while his passenger, Venneman, declined treatment at the scene. The accident happened two miles south of Kidder.
An officer reported that a car driven by 67 year old David Crabb of Kidder was attempting to cross U.S. Highway 36 when he allegedly faqiled to yield to the westbound auto driven by Judd. The impact caused Judd's car to overturn onto its side and be demolished. Moderate damage was reported to the other car.
