A Wheeling resident, 33 year old William Knouse, has been accused in Livingston County with manufacturing or attempting to manufacture methamphetamine and three counts of first degree child endangerment.

Knouse was being held in the Livingston County Jail in lieu on $100,000 cash only bond.

Livingston County Sheriff Steve Cox said officers discovered an alleged active meth lab, related equipment, and other items associated with meth. Cox said there were children at home at the time of the investigation.

The Livingston County Sheriff's Department, Chillicothe Police Department, and the Missouri State Highway Patrol were involved in the investigation.
