Cortney Roberts, the daughter of Shelly Rinehart and Todd and Shelley Roberts, signed a letter of intent to play both softball and basketball at North Central Missouri College in Trenton, Lady Pirates Basketball Coach Jenni Croy announced. Roberts is a graduate of Southwest R-1 School at Ludlow.

Cortney’s basketball honors included All-Conference, All-District, and All-State. She is a 5’7” guard, who also earned All-Conference and All-District honors in softball and All-State honors in track. At NCMC, she expects to earn a degree as a physical therapy assistant.

Roberts will join these previously-signed players for NCMC’s 2012-13 basketball season: Samone Redditt (Independence) and Lexi Hope (Sedalia), and softball players Danessa Derry (Princeton), Cassidy Janicek and Olivia Lotven (Columbia), Mercedes Foster (Newtown), and Jordan Cottengim (Norwood).
