The Trenton Family Aquatic Center had 272 swimmers on Saturday's "Opening Day". Pool Manager Daniel Gott said it was one of the smoothest opening days in many years.

Saturday's attendance was more than double of "Opening Day 2011" and more than 100 greater than 2010. However, the second day attendance two years ago jumped to 287, more than 15 more than the number of swimmers this year on Opening Day.

Regular pool hours are daily from 1 to 6 o'clock. Lap swimming is available from noon to 1. Pool parties can be scheduled on most nights.
