News : Three from Richmond charged with murder

The Missouri Highway Patrol says three Richmond residents have been charged in connection with the death of 40-year old Michelle Rheuport of Richmond. She was found dead in her residence by a family member on Wednesday morning, May 23rd.

The Patrol said 25 year old Brandon Simpson was accused of first degree murder, first degree burglary, and stealing.

Twenty-five year old James Gant of Richmond was accused of second degree murder, first degree burglary, and stealing.

Simpson and Gant also were arrested on probation and parole violation warrants..

Twenty-three year old Lauren Gabbard was accused of second degree murder, first degree burglary, and stealing.

The Patrol said the three Richmond residents were being held at the Ray County Jail on $1,000,000 bond.

The Highway Patrol's Division of Drug and Crime Control, the Ray County Sheriff's Department, and
the Richmond Police Department arrested the three suspects.
