A coalition comprised mostly of numerous agriculture-related organizations will be holding a "town hall" meeting on Wednesday night in Kirksville regaring the Humane Society of the United States and "threats to Missouri agriculture".
The consortium is called "Missouri Farmers Care". The meeting is Wednesday night at 6:30 at the Adair County Annex Building in Kirksville (one block northeast of the Adair County Courthouse).
State Representatives Casey Guernsey, Tom Shively, and Zach Wyatt, State Senator Brian Munzlinger, Missouri Farmers Care, and the Missouri Corn Growers Association are scheduled to be represented.
Dan Kleinsorgee of Missouri Farmers Care says the coalition's main priority is to "educate the public of animal rights activities, how strong they have become, and how they have targeted Missouri agriculture".
