A Cameron man was hurt when the motorcycle he was operating overturned on a road west of Altamont. Thirty-five year old William Roe of Cameron was taken by private vehicle to Cameron Regional Medical Center. He received what the Highway Patrol called MODERATE injuries.
The accident was Saturday morning three miles west of Altamont on Reel Avenue. The investigating officer said the eastbound motorcycle went out of control after cresting a hill, overturned, and came to rest on the south side of the road. The motorcycle had moderate damage. The Patrol said Roe was wearing a safety device. |
