A single vehicle accident on Monday afternoon injured a Winston man. At a location five miles northwest of Gallatin, the Highway Patrol reported that a tanker truck driven by 39-year old John Finton of Winston traveled off Route DD while negotiating a curve.
The truck overturned 1 1/4 times before coming to rest on its passenger side. The Patrol said Finton sustained MODERATE injuries and was taken by ambulance to Cameron Regional Medical Center. The truck was demolished. He was wearing a seat belt, according to the report. |
