One person was injured in a two-vehicle accident on Tuesday evening six miles south of Trenton. The Highway Patrol described injuries as minor for 23 year old Sarah Lowrey of Chula. She was taken by ambulance to Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton.
No injuries were reported for the other driver, 20 year old Dakota Wilford of Trenton. The Highway Patrol said both vehicles were southbound with Ms. Lowery slowing her vehicle to make a turn onto Route Z when the pickup operated by Wilford slid into the rear. The car was demolished while the pickup received extensive damage. Both people involved were wearing seat belts. |
