Automobile Accidents : Weekend accident injures Ridgeway resident

A Ridgeway resident was injured on Saturday afternoon when a car overturned off a gravel road in Harrison County. Forty-nine year old Kelly Folgate was taken to Harrison County Community Hospital in Bethany with injuries described as MODERATE by the Highway Patrol.

Ms. Folgate was a passenger in a car driven by 19-year old Stiger Dinsmore of Ridgeway. He was not reported hurt.

The accident was one mile south of Ridgeway on 240th Street. The Patrol said the eastbound car went out of control, traveled off the left side of the road, hit an embankment and overturned, coming to rest on the passenger side of the vehicle. The car was demolished. The Patrol said neither person was wearing a seat belt.
