Three people, including a child, received minor injuries when two vehicles collided on Sunday evening in Altamont (in Daviess County).
The Highway Patrol said 56 year old Cynthia Rader of Bates City was eastbound on Third Street when she allegedly failed to halt for a stop sign and drove into the path of a northbound car on Whistell Street that was operated by 18 year old Heather Claibourn of Jamesport.
Taken to Cameron Regional Medical Center by private vehicles were three passengers in the Claibourn car: 55 year old Mary Claibourn, 25 year old Wendy Claibourn, and two year old Matthew Waln (all of Altamont). Vehicle damages ranged from minor to moderate. |
