Jenni Croy, Head Coach of the Lady Pirates basketball team at North Central Missouri College in Trenton, has announced her second recruit for the 2012-13 team. It is Samone Redditt, a student at William Chrisman High School in Independence.

Samone is described by Coach Croy as a great addition to the Lady Pirates team, and a hard-working kid who will step into our program and be very successful. She is a gym rat and has the capability to run the point or be the shooting guard, and her defense really impressed the coaching staff as well.

Samone is a 5’8” guard and has scored over 1,000 points in her high school career. She was a First Team All-Conference member in 2011 and 2012. Also, she was on the All-Area First Team in 2012, All-Area Second Team in 2011, and All-Area Honorable Mention in 2010 and 2009. Samone was the Conference Player of the Year in 2011 and has been a Lady Bears basketball camp counselor during the summer for her high school. At NCMC, Samone expects to earn an Associate of Arts Degree in Teaching and then transfer to a four-year college to finish her degree in Physical Education.
