Automobile Accidents : Accident near Bucklin injures Arkansas man

An Arkansas resident was flown by medical helicopter to University Hospital in Columbia after the car he was driving overturned off Highway 36 east of Bucklin.

The Highway Patrol said 35-year old Robert Whitney of Fairfield Bay, Arkansas received SERIOUS injuries.

The accident was late Wednesday morning one mile east of Bucklin on Highway 36. The Patrol said the westbound car went off the left side of the road, then off the right side of the road, and overturned several times, demolishing the car. Whitney was wearing a seat belt.
