KTTN/KGOZ News : Unionville man injured in Putnam County truck accident

A Unionville truck driver was injured yesterday when his rig traveled off Highway 129, overturned, and struck a traffic light.

The accident happened just before 12 noon four miles south of U.S. 136 in eastern Putnam County. The truck was demolished.

The Highway Patrol said 32 year old Christopher Bowen received MODERATE injuries. He was flown yesterday by medical helicopter to University Hospital in Columbia. The Highway Patrol said Bowen was not wearing a seat belt.
