With Aaron Rodgers and the rest of Green Bay's starters resting, Flynn started the game under center and had 102 yards passing, while Tolzien spelled him and completed 12-of-18 passes for 139 yards. Four different receivers had touchdown catches.

Tyler Bray had 116 yards, a touchdown and an interception for the Chiefs, who also went with mostly reserves in the final tune-up before the regular season kicks off.

Joe McKnight had 50 yards and a score on the ground in defeat.

Rookie Davante Adams capped a 12-play drive with a 22-yard touchdown catch to give the Packers an early 7-0 lead. Mason Crosby kicked a pair of second quarter field goals around Jeff Janis' 33-yard TD catch.

Bray's 2-yard touchdown pass to Richard Gordon sent the Chiefs into halftime down 20-7.

McKnight's goal line TD plunge was the only offense Kansas City could muster in the second half, while LaDarius Perkins and Myles White each made touchdown grabs for the Packers.

Green Bay opens the regular season against the defending-champion Seahawks next Thursday, while the Chiefs get an extended break before kicking off against Tennessee on Sunday, Sept. 7.
