News : Gun And Toy Show To Be Held In Marceline

Walsworth Community Center at Marceline hosts a Gun Show September 26th and 27th and a Toy Show October 11th.

The Gun Show is sponsored by the Yellow Creek Ducks Unlimited chapter. It includes guns, ammunition, army surplus items, knives, archery, and a gun raffle. All proceeds are to be donated to the Marceline police department, Marceline food pantry, and the Walsworth Community Center.

Admission for the Gun Show is $6. Youths ages 12 and younger get in free. Vendor tables are $25. The hours are September 26th from 4 until 8 o'clock and September 27th from 9 until 4. Organizers say there will be 24 hour security.

The Walsworth Community Center Toy Show is October 11th from 9 until 4 o'clock. It includes tractors and farm toys, Nascar, Lionel trains, dolls, teddy bears, and antique toys.

Admission is $3 a person with a canned good, and $4 a person without a canned good. Children ages 12 and younger will be admitted free when accompanied by an adult.

Vendor tables are $20 each.

Proceeds from the Toy Show go to the Marceline food pantry, buddy packs, and the
Walsworth Community Center.
