Twenty eight year old Daniel Lee Harding, formerly of Trenton, was arrested at a corrections facility in St. Joseph on a Grundy county warrant accusing conspiracy to commit forgery. Bond on the felony charge is five thousand dollars in cash.

Harding is accused in August of last year of conspiring with another to produce six checks payable to Lori Lee Gutierrez allegedly written on a personal checking account of Felix Gutierrez at Marshall. The warrant noted the checks have an accumulated value of 38-hundred 19 dollars. Harding also was arrested on three other charges for alleged failure to appear in court, or failure to pay.

These pertain to driving while intoxicated, operating a vehicle without a valid drivers' license, and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. Bonds on the misdemeanor charges add up to 14-hundred dollars cash. Harding is to appear today in the Associate Division of the Grundy County Circuit Court.

The other arrest announced by the sheriff's office is of 21 year old Dallas Hanes of Northwest 25th street of rural Trenton on a charge of domestic assault in the third degree. Hanes posted 25 hundred dollars bond pending his appearance tomorrow in the associate division. The misdemeanor warrant notes Hanes is accused of physical contact with his spouse, Ashlie Hanes, on August 21st at their residence.
