Sports : Gilman City (Pattonsburg) Coaches Show For Tuesday, 8/21/14

Eight-man football returns to the community of Pattonsburg on Friday night, with the Panthers hosting a home-schooled team from Leawood, Kansas called Kansas City East.

The Gilman City, North Daviess, and Pattonsburg school districts are combining for an eight-man football team this fall, with nearly 30 boys out for the team. Gilman City and Pattonsburg will not be fielding boy's softball teams in 2014.

Due to the loss of the Gilman City boy's softball program, there will be, starting on Tuesday, August 26th, a Gilman City Ladyhawks interview with Head Coach Holly Preston, and a Pattonsburg Panther football show to follow, with Head Coach Dan Dreesen. Softball shows for Grundy R-5 and North Mercer (both girl's and boy's) will debut on KTTN on Monday, August 25th. The Tri-County softball shows with Brittany Ghidoni and Penny Gardner debut on Tuesday, August 26th.

Here is the first interview of the fall sports season with Pattonsburg Panther football coach Dan Dreesen, scheduled to air at 3:45 Tuesday afternoons on KTTN FM 92.3:
