One used to be a longtime Trenton business: the former Gables Supper Club at 39-15 Oklahoma Avenue in north Trenton.

Others are houses at 119 Kavanaugh, 401 Ridgeway, 24-16 Mable, 915 Kumler, 13-21 Norton, 12-16 Shanklin, 21-01 Oak, 13-14 Tindall Avenue; 845 West 13th Street; and 14-06 East 9th Street.

Building Inspector Donnie Vandevender said two owners want their properties demolished while contractors are in town and will pay for demolition work on their own. For the demolition of the 11 mentioned properties, it's a 50/50 split of demolition and inspection costs up to the cities maximum amount of shared expense in demolition of the property. The city's maximum is 17-hundred 50 dollars per location. All abatement of hazardous materials, finished grading, and seeding is at the property owner’s expense.

Demolition project money comes from the cities budget. No government money is involved.

Contractor bids are due at City Hall September 15th. A bidders meeting and
tour of properties is August 27th, starting at 9 o'clock at the city hall.
