Five of the "challenge games" will be televised by either ESPN or ESPN2, while four games will be shown on ESPNU, and one on the SEC Network. All 10 of the Big 12 Conference schools will participate in this year's event, while 10 of the 14 SEC schools will participate. Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi State, and Texas A&M will not play this year.

The matchup between the Tigers and the Sooners will tip at 8:30 PM CT, and be shown nationally on ESPNU. Mizzou has won three consecutive meetings with OU, including a 71-68 victory in Norman on February 6, 2012.

While not a part of the SEC/Big 12 Challenge, Missouri also faces Oklahoma State of the Big 12 Conference later in December. That game is slated for December 30th at the Sprint Center in Kansas City. Game time and television designations will be announced on a later date.

On the same day the SEC/Big 12 Challenge television schedule has announced, the schedule was also announced for the annual Big 10/ACC Challenge. With Maryland switching from the ACC to the Big 10 this season, Louisville moving into the ACC to take the Terrapins spot, and the Big 10 also adding Rutgers University this year, more intriguing games are in store for that event.

Here are the matchups for both the SEC/Big 12 and Big 10/ACC Challenges, with all games to be played in early December:
