The game between the Tigers and the Wildcats will be played at the Lahaina Civic Center, and be televised on ESPN2. The game will represent the third all-time meeting between the programs, with Mizzou beating Arizona in 1984 and the Wildcats returning the favor in a 1994 Elite Eight battle in Los Angeles. This is be the first of three scheduled games between the schools, with MU and the U of A to play in a home-and-home series in 2015 and 2016.

The 2014 EA Sports Maui Invitational, in addition to Missouri and Arizona, will feature tournament host Chaminade, BYU, Kansas State, Pittsburgh, Purdue, and San Diego State. Missouri will be making its first appearance in Maui since 1997.
