News : Cameron Woman Held On $100K Bond In Death Of Man On UTV

A Cameron woman is held in jail on 100 thousand dollars cash bond after her alleged involvement in a Monday evening traffic accident that claimed the life of another Cameron resident.

72 year old Charles Cooper was the fatality when, according to the highway patrol investigation, he was thrown off his utility terrain vehicle when it was struck by a car two miles south of Cameron.

52 year old Jacqueline McQuinn has been formally charged with involuntary manslaughter in the first degree. The charge noted an an alleged blood alcohol content of point-18 or more contributing to the death of a non-passenger. Ms. McQuinn listed an address in online court records as 93-92 Northeast 328 Street of Cameron.

She's to return to court this morning as Associate Judge Paul Luckenbill scheduled a 10 o'clock hearing in the Clinton County Circuit Court at the Courthouse in Plattsburg. Appointment of a public defender is to be considered.

Court records also revealed Ms. McQuinn has a previous conviction in May of 2006 for misdemeanor driving while intoxicated in Clinton County resulting then in a fine and court costs.
