The Chillicothe Police Department has released a report of recent activities, including the arrest of two individuals.

From their press release:

On 08/02/2014, officers responded to the 600 block of Chicago Avenue regarding a domestic disturbance. Officers arrested Justin Sanchez and Jean Sanchez for Domestic assault. They were transported the Daviess DeKalb Regional Jail pending the filing of formal charges.

On 058/02/2014, officers received a report of theft in the 1700 block of Burnam Road. Investigation continues.

On 08/01/2014, officers responded to a two-vehicle non injury accident in the 700 block of South Washington Street. Officers reported a vehicle driven by Helen Lawson was exiting a private parking lot onto Washington Street when she failed to yield the right of way a vehicle driven by George Hayward. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage. Lawson was issued citations for failing to yield resulting in an accident and failing to provide proof of insurance.

On 08/01/2014, officers arrested Steven Hurst in the 600 block of Walnut Street in a Livingston County Warrant for failure to appear. Hurst posted bond and was released from custody.

On 08/02/2014, officers arrested Erik Swanson at Washington Street and Webster Street for speeding, no insurance, and driving with a suspended drivers license. Swanson was released on citations.
