News : North Central Missouri Fair Parade Winners

One hundred entries took part last evening in the North Central Missouri Fair parade. Among the award winners from the judging.

Best business float was won by the Auto Shawp. Best non-business float
was given to Small Community Big Hearts.

Best restored motor vehicle was entered by Mickey Lovett.

Oldest car or truck was a 1931 model Ford entered by John Urich.

Best restored tractor driven in the parade was by Ryan Stimpson.

Oldest farm tractor was the 1933 F-20 Farmall by Neil Peery.

Most unusual entry was from Austin Stevens.

Best clown was Mark Robinson.

Dennis McDonald had the largest family on one entry in the parade.

Oldest woman and man were Maurine Jackson (at 100) and Del Hart (87).

Most unusual horse drawn vehicle was entered by Jerry Berry. He also won

the award for best dressed horse and male rider. The female award went to
Kyla Coffman.

With the best matched team of horses ridden in the parade were Steve Tharp and Penny Buswell. North Missouri saddle club won two awards: the best dressed club and the one with the largest number of horses.
