54 year old Andrew Epperson of rural Laredo waived a preliminary hearing and was bound over to Division I of Circuit Court on a charge accusing him with driving while intoxicated on April 25th. The charge said Epperson was convicted of DWI in Sullivan County in 2008 and pleaded guilty to DWI in Linn County, also in 2008.

A misdemeanor charge accusing Epperson with misdemeanor driving while revoked on April 25th was certified to be heard in Division I of Grundy County Circuit Court.

36 year old Shawn Simon of Independence admitted violating his probation. The probation was revoked and Judge Steve Hudson sentenced Simon to 90 days in the Grundy County Detention Center. Simon was given credit for already serving 31 days. The remaining 59 days were suspended and he was put back on probation for 1 year.

Simon is required to pay all current and delinquent probation fees. Once that's done, Judge Hudson will consider releasing Simon from the probation early.
