The Jamesport Tri-County Board of Education accepted several bids during a meeting last Thursday night.

MFA and Landes Oil will provide gas and diesel---Landes Oil at a discount of 4 cents and MFA at a discount of 2 cents off the pump price.

Also approved were bids by Anderson Erickson for milk and Jamesport Grocery for bread.

The board accepted a bid from North Central Missouri Cleaning of Chillicothe and Trenton to clean school facilities for $1,500 a month.

The Jamesport Tri-County Board approved a 10 cent increase in school lunch prices to meet U.S. Department of Agriculture requirements.

The Board discussed health insurance providers with no action taken.

The Tri-County Board decided to shift $500,000 to operating funds when a Certificate of Deposit matures. The money is to be reinvested at a later date after considering investment options.

A conflict of interest ordinance was approved to meet requirements of the Missouri Ethics Commission.

A closed session was held regarding personnel, real estate, and legal matters.

The next regular meeting of the Jamesport Tri-County Board of Education is the night of August 7th at 6 o'clock in the superintendent's office. It will be preceded by a tax rate hearing at 5:45.
