Aaron Wayne Clemons is charged with 1st degree murder, kidnapping, armed criminal action, arson and two counts of child endangerment.

Ozark Police Chief Lyle Hodges says Clemons was arrested about 10:00 Monday night at a hospital in Springfield.

The body of Bailey Clemons was found in her burned out home one week ago today. The fire broke out early Monday, June 16.

Investigators initally thought no one was home at the time of the fire. But followup investigation led deputies back to the house the next day, where her body was discovered.

Christian County coroner Brad Cole announced Monday that DNA confirmed the victim was Bailey Clemons.

Online court records show Bailey Clemons filed for divorce from Aaron Clemons in April, 2013. The case had been on hold since June, 2013.

Prosecutors have asked for a $1 million bond.
