News : Grundy County Nursing Home District Meets

The Grundy county nursing home district board has approved the 2014-2015 budget which includes a wage increase for employees.

The 2014-2015 budget allows each individual employee an annual wage rate increase UP to five percent based on merit.

The budget also includes an employee health insurance cost increase of approximately 38% with no additional cost for employees receiving the base insurance plan.

The Board discussed storm damage and roof repair. A special meeting was set for July 2nd at 7:30 am to discuss roof repair bids for the Sunnyview nursing home and apartments in Trenton.

The purchasing policy has been updated and received board approval during the Monday meeting.

Donita Youtsey, presented the Administrator’s and residential care facility reports. The Board also met in closed session with no announcements.
