Accidents : Iowa Resident Injured In Friday Accident Near Bethany

An Iowa resident was hurt in the near head-on collision of two cars northwest of Bethany Friday afternoon.

62 year old Richard Aguilera of Manly, Iowa was taken to Harrison County Community Hospital at Bethany with minor injuries.

Aguilera was a passenger in a car driven by 56 year old Brad Smith of Osage, Iowa. Smith and the driver of the other car, 61 year old Judith Trullinger of Grant City, were not reported hurt.

The accident occurred 5 miles northwest of Bethany on Route F. Ms. Trullinger was westbound and Smith was traveling east, when according to the patrol, Smith made a left turn into the path of Ms. Trullinger.

Both cars were extensively damaged.

All 3 persons were wearing seatbelts.
