A 37 year old Trenton resident, Michael Puckett, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor counts of 3rd degree domestic assault and violation of a protection order.

Puckett also admitted violating his probation---resulting in the probation being revoked. Combined, the sentences totaled 90 days incarceration, with credit given for already serving 27 days---leaving 63 days in the Grundy County jail. In the charges of domestic assault and violation of a protection order, Pucket was accused of assaulting Stacy Palmer by hitting her, pushing her down, and threatening physical violence against her and her family.

51 year old Kenneth Pate of Galt waived a preliminary hearing and was bound over to Division 1 of Circuit Court on a charge accusing him with unlawful possession of a firearm. He was accused of being a convicted felon in possession of a shotgun and handgun.

Pate pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges of 1st degree trespassing, driving while his license was revoked, and driving while intoxicated with one prior DWI conviction in Sullivan County. Plea agreements were involved on the cases in Associate Division Grundy County Circuit Court. Pate was sentenced to 40 days in the Grundy County Detention Center. In the trespassing charge, Pate was accused of unlawfully remaining on property owned or occupied by Justin and Ashley Lea.

A charge accusing Pate with misdemeanor driving while revoked was dismissed by the prosecution.

34 year old Christopher Shane Owen, with addresses listed at Trenton and Princeton, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor stealing. Judge Hudson suspended execution of a sentence and put Owen on probation for 2 years. He's required to pay $959 restitution and
$116 in court costs. Owen was accused of appropriating gasoline from Stephens MFA between last September 13th and October 25th on a Quality General Construction account without the consent of Quality General Construction.

39 year old Eric Wattenbarger of Trenton waived a preliminary hearing and was bound over to Division 1 of Grundy County Circuit Court on a charge accusing him with failure to register as a sexual offender with the Grundy County Law Enforcement Center.

48 year old Perry Baden of Oak Grove waived a preliminary hearing and was bound over to Division 1 of Circuit Court on a charge accusing passing a check drawn on a non existent bank account in 2012.

A charge accusing 24 year old Dustan Youngs of Spickard with unlawful use of a weapon in January was dismissed by the prosecution.
