Missouri voters, on August 5th, decide a proposed 3/4 of a cent state sales tax increase for 10 years. It's called Constitutional Amendment 7. If approved, MoDOT says the money would go toward transportation improvements across the state. MoDOT says the amendment's provisions include the creation of a project list prior to the election so Missourians see what their tax dollars would fund.

The open house at the Bethany Community Center is June 19th from 4 until 6 o'clock. The public can go there at any time during that period. No formal presentations are scheduled .

Multiple open house meetings are to be held across the state. The schedule, the draft transportation improvement list, and an online comment form are to be available online This Friday at Noon at www.modot.Org/movingforward.
