A passenger in the car, 17 year old Cheyenne Sharp of Trenton, was taken to Wright Memorial Hospital with what the patrol called moderate injuries.

The patrol said the driver of the car, 20 year old Jesse Bruce of Trenton; the driver of the pickup, 30 year old Zachary Ward of Gilman City; and a passenger in the pickup, 23 year old Christopher Hulett of Gilman City were not hurt.

The patrol said the car was northbound on Highway 65 when the pickup truck---which was eastbound on 28th Street----pulled into the path of the car.

The car hit the passenger side of the pickup. The pickup went off the northeast corner of the intersection and came to rest on its top. The car came to rest in the northbound lane of Highway 65---facing east.

Both vehicles were demolished. The patrol said the 2 persons in the car, Jesse Bruce and Cheyenne Sharp were wearing seatbelts, but the 2 persons in the pickup, Zachary Ward and Christopher Hulett were not using safety devices.
