Severe weather kicked up about 4 pm on Tuesday afternoon, and slammed north Missouri during the evening and overnight hours.

Hail ranging from 1.25 inches to almost 3 inches pounded north Missouri in various locations, while a funnel cloud was sighted just west of Princeton.

A report from Janet Searcy in Princeton, had a tree uprooted, damaging her home.

An unofficial report of a funnel cloud forming near Mercer caused emergency warning sirens to sound.
