News : Chilli Bay Water Park To Open Memorial Day

Due to the Chillicothe R-2 School District not releasing for summer until May 28th, Chilli Bay has changed its opening schedule for the Summer 2014 season.

Chilli Bay will open on Memorial Day (Monday, May 26th), be closed the following two days (due to school remaining in session), and then open for the summer on Thursday, May 29th. Operating hours will be Monday through Friday from noon to 7 o'clock, and Saturday and Sunday from noon to 6 o'clock. You can purchase season passes EARLY at Chillicothe City Hall (715 Washington Street) up to opening day. For those individuals who have purchased a season pass early they may pick them up at Chilli Bay on either Saturday, May 24th or Sunday, May 25th from 12 noon to 3 o'clock. To schedule a party or swim lessons call (660)646-1877.

Chilli Bay will be adding a few items this summer. For the first time, individuals will be able to purchase a Water Fitness Pass, which will allow them to participate in different aerobic activities such as Aqua Zumba and Water Walk. The Water Fitness Pass will be sold at Chilli Bay beginning in June and they will be $60.00 for 15 sessions. For more information on Aqua Zumba, you can call (660 646-2424 and speak with Haleigh. Tuesday, May 27th and Wednesday, May 28th - Chilli Bay closes due to school
Thursday, May 29th - Chilli Bay opens for the season
Sunday, August 17th - Chilli Bay closes, open weekends only
Monday, September 1st - Chilli Bay closes for season

Swimming Lessons (3 Sessions)

Session 1 - June 16th through June 27th
Session 2 - July 7th through July 18th
Session 3 - July 28th through August 8th

Special After Hour Events

Movie Night - Thursday, June 12th at 8:00 PM
Late Night Swim - Thursday, July 31st from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM
Doggie Dip - Monday, September 1st at 7:30 PM

Aqua Zumba

June 30th through August 8th (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday only) at 10:00 AM

Water Walk

June 30th through August 1st (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday only) from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM
