The North Mercer Board approved budget amendments for the current fiscal year showing an increase in revenue of nearly 120-thousand dollars and an increase in spending of 107-thousand dollars. That reduces the budgeted deficit for this fiscal year to around 71-thousand dollars. The budget includes an expenditure of 275-thousand dollars for the construction of an agriculture building. The current budget has anticipated spending at slightly over three-point-one million dollars.

Two North Mercer students will be attending the National Future Business Leaders of America competition at Nashville, Tennessee in June. The Board of Education has approved the expenses and trip for Seniors Levi Houk in Word Processing and Kesha Freeman in Spread Sheet Application.
