esterday morning's accident occurred at 6 a-m, one mile south of Route H.

The highway patrol described injuries as moderate to the driver of a car, 69 year old Duane Seager of Jameson and minor to operator of the truck, 33 year old Dennis Swearingin of Pattonsburg.

The patrol's investigation determined the truck had crossed over the center line of Highway 13. After impact, the truck came to rest on its passenger side. The car traveled off the east side of the road coming to rest in a ditch. Both vehicles were demolished.

Neither driver was listed as using seat belts.

The highway patrol arrest report reported Dennis Swearingin was accused of failure to drive on the right side of the road. Swearingin also was arrested on a Harrison county warrant accusing him of failure to appear in circuit court on a previous charge.
