Sports : Dallas, Texas Native Signs With Missouri

D'Angelo Allen, a senior at Kimball High School in Dallas, Texas, has become the first signing for Head Coach Kim Anderson at the University of Missouri.

Allen is a 6-foot-7, 195 pound small forward, known for his "athleticism and defensive versatility". He was part of three Texas Class AAAA State Championship teams and helped the Knights reach four consecutive state title games.

He was named to the AAAA All-Tournament team in 2014, and is Kimball's all-time leader in career starts, breaking the mark set by former Texas A&M star, Acie Law IV. As a senior, Allen averaged 13.3 points and 10.2 rebounds per game. He will be a freshman on the Mizzou roster in 2014-2015 and selected the Tigers over Oklahoma, Marquette, Houston, and Georgetown.
