Those charges against Brian Adkison were continued until June 2nd. After pleading guilty to five charges in Ohio in February, Adkison faces charges in six Missouri counties (including Caldwell). Those counties are Boone, Camden, Carroll, Clay, and Morgan.

Appearing on Monday at the Caldwell County Courthouse in Kingston, Adkison pled not guilty to kidnapping, second-degree property damage, and violation of a protection order, charges stemming from a June 2013 incident in Caldwell County. He also pled not guilty to charges of escaping from jail and damaging jail property, after fleeing custody in August 2013. He is accused of escaping from the Caldwell County Jail by crawling through the ceiling of his cell to a nearby office. He was being held on charges in numerous jurisdictions after a spree that began in May 2013.

On May 4, 2013, Adkison allegedly broke into the house of an ex-girlfriend in Columbia and raped her. In Boone County, he is facing charges of first-degree burglary, forcible rape and deviate sexual assault for that incident. He then allegedly stole a vehicle in Carroll County on June 14th and traveled to Caldwell County, where he kidnapped and terrorized the same woman before dropping her off at a Columbia hospital on June 16th.

Carroll County prosecutors charged Adkison with first-degree tampering.

Adkison's escape from jail triggered a manhunt. The charges he faces in Camden and Morgan Counties stem from the time of that search. The search extended near Lake of the Ozarks, where he was arrested June 21st in Morgan County after authorities called in fifty officers and dogs, as well as a helicopter to find him. Adkison is accused of first-degree burglary in Morgan County.

In Camden County, he faces three felonies - second -degree burglary, resisting arrest by fleeing and tampering with an airplane or motorboat; and two misdemeanors - stealing and second-degree property damage.

Adkison also faces a first-degree tampering charge in Clay County from August 2012. He is being held WITHOUT BOND at the Caldwell County Detention Center. Once he escaped from jail last August, authorities claim that Adkison stole a vehicle and was on the run for nearly a month, before being captured in a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio. He pled guilty in February in Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court to two counts of receiving stolen property, two counts of failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officer, and one count of petty theft. He received two years in prison for those charges.
