Sports : TMS Boys Track Wins Team Title At C.F. Russell Stadium

The Trenton Middle School boy's track and field team scored 71 1/2 points on Tuesday afternoon, defeating runner-up Hamilton in the annual TMS Relays at C.F. Russell Stadium in Trenton.

TMS boy's track coach Brandon Boswell said his team "performed well". The overall strength of Trenton's performance allowed the Bulldogs to win the team title, despite only one (4 by 200 relay) first place individual finish.

For the TMS boys, Lucas Clark was 2nd in the pole vault and 3rd in the 800 run. Jadan Whitney was 3rd in the discus and 2nd in the shot put. Kylen Wilkinson was 3rd in the shot put. Chase Marsh was 3rd in the 100 hurdles. The 4 by 100 relay team of Trey Webb, Colton Colston, Cameron Murray, and Chase Marsh finished in 2nd place.

The Trenton Middle School track teams will travel to St. Joseph on Monday, April 28th to participate in the St. Joseph Christian Junior High Invitational.
