Sports : Chillicothe Hornets Sweep Team Titles at Cameron Invitational

The Chillicothe High School girl's and boy's track teams dominated Tuesday's Cameron Invitational, with the Lady Hornets scoring 131 points and the Hornet boys 129 points in taking the team championships.

For the Trenton Lady Bulldogs, Ayron Osborn had a strong day, with a second place finish in the 800 meters, and third place in the triple jump. Ally Ockenfels was third in the shot put. Alexis Fender and Whitley Richman both scored hurdles points for THS, with the duo finishing 6th and 8th in the 100 hurdles, and 5th and 7th in the 300 hurdles.

In addition to the 4 by 800 relay win, Trenton's boys had a trio of THIRD place finishes from the 4 by 100, 4 by 200, and 4 by 400 relay teams. In the 110 hurdles, Dalton Ellis was fifth, and Jacob Hamilton eighth. Dakota Anderson was eighth in the 100 meter dash. Charlie Hoffman was runner-up in both the 800 and 1600 meter runs. Thomas Mack finished eighth in the 1600 meter run. Lonathon Lamp was seventh in the 200. Trey Shields was sixth and Gavin Griffin eighth in the 400 meter dash. Trent Crawford was third in the 3200 meter run.
